Quite some time ago, I visited college fellow alumni at his home about a year after we graduated. He was doing well. Had a real pretty girlfriend and an even more pretty fawn colored Doberman bitch. I knew I was in trouble when the front door swung open and his dog jumped on me and started to lick at me in earnest.

“ Oh don’t mind her,” my friend said apologetically. “ She just tries to kiss everyone.”
“Yeah.” his girlfriend acknowledged. “Especially since she’s just coming out of her heat.”
“It’s cool,” I said as I followed them into the house, the little Dobie bitch nibbling at my hand.
